IN (Tuesday, September 22, 2009) -- Hoosier Racing Tire and the Lucas Oil
American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) announced today the renewal of their
contract through the 2012 race season.
Hoosier has been the tire of choice
for ASCS on the right rear wheel position since the start of the 2000 race
season. ASCS will continue to run the 105/16-15 Medium on the right rear while
left rears and fronts are open to any tire brand.

to showcase our product on the biggest stage nationwide."

ASCS sanctions 360 sprints and 410
non-wing sprints in 23 states and 3 Canadian provinces. A total of 266 drivers
have competed in at least one Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car event in 2009, with an
average of 52.7 cars per race night. Including the series' many Regional
events, well over 800 drivers have competed in at least one ASCS event in 2009.
