Finally, when the two drivers made heavy contact in turn five, Buescher saw his opportunity and drove around them for the win.

It was the first time the ARCA Racing Series competed at the picturesque road course facility.

Buescher, making just his second start of the 2013 season, earned his 10th career win in the series and his first on a road course.

The defending series champion now joins a very select group of drivers to have won on all four forms of tracks in the ARCA Series--a paved short track, a dirt track, a superspeedway, and a road course.

Buescher joins Nelson Stacy, Curtis Turner, Jack Bowsher, Bob Schacht, Ken Schrader, and Justin Allgaier as drivers who have won all track designs.

Andrew Ranger won the pole for the event when he posted a time of 132.356 seconds around the 4.048-mile, 14-turn road course. Austin Dillon was second followed by Chase Elliott, Ryan Blaney and Tom Hessert.

The 40-lap race featured eight leaders among four different drivers. Leaders included; Chase Elliott 1, 19-21, 39 (5 laps), Andrew Ranger 2-15, 36-38 (17 laps), Austin Dillon 16-18, 22-35 (17 laps) and Chris Buescher 40 (1 lap).

After the final lap skirmish between Elliott and Ranger, Buescher motored around the duo to take the win 2.615 seconds ahead of Ranger.

Tom Hessert finished in third followed by Chase Elliott and Ryan Blaney to round out the top five.

The race had just one full course caution for a total of four laps.

With a seventh place finish, Frank Kimmel extends his lead in the driver standings to 115 points over Mason Mingus who finished in 10th.

The ARCA Racing Series returns to action this weekend, June 30, at Winchester Speedway.

Frank Kimmel is still in search of his 79th series win that will tie him with legendary ARCA driver Iggy Katona.

Trackside tire sales and service at Road America was again provided by Hoosier's track service group consisting of; David Wroblewski, Eriks Bers, Tyler Hartle, Ryan Craft and Mike Haenes.
