ANDREW RANGER WINS 3RD CONSECUTIVE ARCA RACE AT NEW JERSEY MOTORSPORTS PARK

Photo courtesy of www.arcaracing.comMILLVILLE, NJ (July 28, 2013) -- Andrew Ranger led 30 of 67 race laps en route to winning the Barbera's Autoland 150 at New Jersey Motorsports Park on Sunday. 

Incredibly, the Canadian driver has now won the last three ARCA events held at the 2.25-mile road course. 

In qualifying, Ranger crushed the old track record with a time of 79.896 seconds/101.382 mph in the #53 Waste Management Bagster Dodge. 

Chase Elliott was second fastest among the 30-car field at 80.867 seconds/100.164 mph. 

The race featured seven leaders among three different drivers. 

Leaders included; Chase Elliott 1-7, 27-30, 35-57 (34 laps), Andrew Ranger 8-26, 31, 58-67 (30 laps) and Will Kimmel 32-34 (3 laps).

The race, which was completed in 1:27:48, had only three cautions for 10 laps.

In the end, Ranger motored to a 7.893 second win over Tom Hessert who started fourth.

Hessert was followed to the line by Chase Elliott, Will Kimmel and Frank Kimmel in third through fifth, respectively. 

Frank Kimmel continues to hold a commanding 180-point lead in the driver standings over Mason Mingus as the ARCA Racing Series heads to Pocono Raceway this Friday, August 2nd.

The Pennsylvania ARCA 125 will be broadcast LIVE on SPEED beginning at 5:00 PM (ET).
